SHAWN ROSSITER

Shawn Rossiter is best known for his colorful, expressionistic inter- pretations of the Utah landscape.
For this exhibit, however, Rossiter presents stark black-and-white abstract works on canvas, paper and wood, which he says are influenced by the events of last fall.

ANDREW SMITH

Andrew Smith is a young Utah sculptor who is quickly making a name for himself.  Working with a wide variety of junkyard materials, water pumps,  motors, and lights, Smith creates kinetic, rolling ball and figurative sculpture pieces that are icons of cursiosity and creativity.

DARRYL ERDMANN

If it can be done with paint, Darryl Erdmann will do it.  Scraping, washing, scrumbling and brushing his way across his surfaces, Erdmann creates vibrant, dynamic abstract pieces delighting in form, color, movement, and the sheer act of painting. For more information click here.

ARTSPACE FORUM GALLERY is the latest achievement in Artspace’s twenty year mission to revitalize the industrial west side of Salt Lake City by developing cultural facilities and affordable spaces for artists, art organizations, and others.   Artspace Forum is located at on the southwest corner of 5th west and 2nd south in downtown Salt Lake City.  Artspace is open Wednesday thru Saturday, noon to 5 pm.  For more information on the gallery, click here.
